Made in Japan. The old Subarus where more reliable. Change the oil. And keep an eye on the anti freeze. Subarucooling system are hard to bleed out. The air lock causes head gasket to fail. 300000 before I seen them fail. Not bad. My step dad drove from Calgary to Winnipeg on a blown head gasket.

Former ASE certified tech, Smog tech, and Mazda Certified Senior Technician here weighing in on your statement about FixD and how it is very misleading. I don’t know if they paid you to read a script but it is false advertising. From what it sounds like from your promotional statements, FixD is basically just a OBD2 Scantool and there is no OBD2 Scan Tool in existence that will tell you “exactly” what’s wrong with your car. The Diagnostic Trouble Code(DTC) tells you what systems in your car are not working correctly and more often than not, that system or part the code is telling you is not functioning correctly is only malfunctioning because some other part failed that caused the sensor to read an abnormal value. Throwing parts at the issue will not fix the issue, DTCs are starting points in a diagnostic and if you want it fixed right the first time, you will either need to do the diagnostic yourself if you know how, have a friend that knows how, or pay someone that understands enough to perform a proper diagnostic.
